The Warheads are a gaming club based in Dublin. While other clubs pride themselves on their inclusiveness and patchy tournament records, we take a different route. The club has a strict no children/annoying people policy and we pride ourselves on leading Irish wargamers into brave new vistas of good bodily hygiene and haircare (where applicable).
The club’s main game systems are Flames of War and Warhammer 40k but we are not limited to those alone. Our members also overspend on Warmachine, Warhammer Fantasy, Blood Bowl, Epic, Necromunda, Infinity, Battlefleet Gothic and any random historical wargame that piques their interest.
The club was initially founded with a focus on tournament play. But after years of relentless triumph, we developed a fondness for casual play and the more social side of the hobby. We still remain involved in the tournament scene, organising multiple yearly tournaments across multiple systems and attending wargaming tournaments throughout Ireland and abroad.
